The end of 2020 is definitely something to celebrate and we are closing it out with an End of the Year Blowout and raffle. Exciting news! We have been named Best Story Time in Tucson by the readers of Tucson Weekly ! We held our first story hour in Tucson at Harley's Toys and Comics in July 2019 and have since performed multiple times at Bookmans East and most recently at Antigone Books in an event presented in collaboration with the Institute for LGBT Studies at the University of Arizona . The American Library Association's Banned Books Week happens this year from September 27-October 3. Banned Books Week is a very important holiday for those of us here at Drag Story Hour Arizona. The majority of the books on the list of Most Challenged Books for 2019 were challenged at least in part for LGBTQIA+ content.
